Fire Magic
Where death and healing were said to be the first two Aspects of magic, the Aspects that sought control and mastery over the (then considered) elements were the next schools of magic to be developed. Fire is certainly among the first of those to be discovered and developed.
Fire has many uses from survival and signalling to distraction and destruction, and aside from that of Death, no magical Aspect is considered evil. Fire magic is one of the most practical, freeing people up from transporting fire-making equipment, no matter how light.
- Spark: The caster is able to summon and control a spark of fire.
- Camp Fire: Casting this ignites a short-term elemental fire which is suitable for cooking.
- Bonfire: The Bonfire spell can be used as a bonfire or as an area-damage spell, depending on who is standing too close to where you’ve casted it…
- Signal Flare: Fires a sphere of fire into the sky, alerting others to your position.
- Torch: Ignites a flame held by the caster which does not harm him/her. The flame is usable for reading and short-range lighting.
- Through the Flames: Meditating on the fire, the caster draws a certain amount of energy from the flames, enabling the caster to become more powerful for a very short period of time.
- Pyrotech: Fireworks! Dazzle your friends, and scare the landsquid down by the beach.
- Inner Fire: Said to invoke a measure of spontaneous combustion, this is specifically made for the destruction of people.
- Inferno: Just like Inner Fire, except that it is directed at objects and structures.
- Flame Hypnosis: A mental trick, the caster is able to influence a person to answer a question, or generally act more favorably towards them.
- Extinguish: Draws a fire down, eventually extinguishing it.
