No one knows the desert like the Charkritians. Having been born and raised in the harsh climate for thousands of years, the Charkritians have learned many ways to stay alive in the desert, and the technology that they have developed is a testament to that drive. However, not all Charkritians use technology to survive the deep desert. Some wanderers rely on the skills that their ancient ancestors learned over the course of millenia and adopted and refined to be fit to use for the purposes of living…

Today, those same skills are taught by a knowledgeable few masters of Charkritian Desert Magic. Charkritian Desert Magic is a school of magic consisting of specialized elemental and spiritual magic that is specifically geared towards surviving the deserts of Chi’Hamak:

• Dowsing: Allows one to locate water sources in order to refill their depleted supplies.

• Spark: Enables the caster to generate a spark strong enough to light a small fire.

• Sand Shield: Encases the caster in a bubble of compressed air, shielding them from the stinging winds of a sand storm.

• Sand Shelter: This skill allows the caster to create a rudimentary sand cave as a shelter from the elements.

• Sand Roads: An old and rare skill, it allows the caster to intuitively know where their destination is, without the aid of maps or technology, even in the deepest desert.

• Well Spring: For those who think that Dowsing is not enough, casting Well Spring yields a small spring of water from which several people can drink and refill their water supplies.

• Stone Talk: One of the rarest skills, Stone Talk allows a caster to “talk” to the stones and discern whether a particular person passed by, and if so, their general direction.

• Campfire: Rather than just a spark, Campfire ignites a sustained elemental fire suitable for cooking and keeping warm.

• Signal Flare: The caster is able to fire a small sphere of fire into the air to mark their position for others. NOTE: If you light one of these up near an Aeropod, then your friends are most likely to just find part of you…

• Sun Shade: Casting this condenses the air just above the caster and creates a small cloud which blocks the harsh rays of the deep desert sun.
